What does your role entail?

Customer service, driving revenue, teaching staff.

How did you get your start working in Cinemas?

Before totally into it, I handed my resume into the Duty Manager.

Does anyone in your family work in a Cinema?

I don’t have any family members working at the cinema however, I consider people at work family.

What surprised you about working in a Cinema?

The overall spirit of the team. Everyone has the ability to get along in a fun working environment.

What’s your career path looked like to date?

I started out as clean team cleaning the cinemas. Soon after I was crossed trained in Scoop Alley, Vmax Bar and Box Office. Now I am a Team Leader across all of these outlets.

During your time at this Cinema, what has been your proudest moment?

Being part of the sites functions and events team. Delivering first class service to ensure the customer has a wonderful function is extremely satisfying to me.

Where do you wish to go from here?

My next goal is to become a Duty Manager at Event Cinemas Liverpool.

Can you bust any Cinema myths?

We don’t get to watch movies on shift and we don’t watch every movie that is released.
