At Event Hospitality & Entertainment we believe in the importance of people – and we also believe it’s important to give something back – so we set up the STRETCH Workplace Giving Program to make it easy to help out. Our STRETCH charity program is ranked in the Top 10 Australian workplace giving programs.
STRETCH allows employees to contribute pre tax to selected charities that are important to our staff. Event provides one volunteer day each year for all full-time employees.
With the help of our employees, Event Hospitality & Entertainment has donated over $5.8 million to our 21 nominated charities since commencing the STRETCH program in 2005.
We also run great fundraising events to support our Corporate Charity Partner Children’s Hospitals around Australia. Employees can get involved at their own locations fundraising or by supporting our annual national trivia nights or charity screenings. Event Hospitality & Entertainment has donated over $3 million to provide much needed equipment for the leading children’s hospitals around Australia since commencing this partnership!!
